Transystems is looking for mechanics/technicians to join our Fleet Maintenance team. We currently have full time, year-round positions available in several locations.

Requirements:

• 3-years technical or mechanic experience
• Basic hand tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in a shop and team environment
• Ability to operate basic hand, electric and air operated tools
• Basic computer skills

Job Description:

• Performs Preventative inspections: Inspects and tests all truck and heavy equipment systems, including drive train, engine operation, transmission operation, suspension, steering, brakes, electrical system, hydraulics, HVAC and emissions
• Minor and major repairs to class 8 tractors/trailers, loaders and excavators, unloading equipment
• Computer diagnostics

Pay will be based on experience.
